The earth is a mother symbol since ancient times – the earth gives birth and preserves life, it represents fertility, which creates new beginnings, creativity and a life force.

The cyclical nature of the universe is expressed in the alternating periods of darkness and light, night and day, death and rebirth, the alternation of growth and rest, action and reaction, all in the natural rhythm of things that is a grounding force for all beings on the Earth.
